Uneven Eyeliner? Here's a Tip That Might Fix Your Woes - Makeup and Beauty Blog

If it seems similar I talk most uneven eyeliner every v seconds, it'southward considering I do. I talk nearly uneven eyeliner EVERY 5 SECONDS.
Hello. 🙂
What I wouldn't GIVE to exist one of those gals who tin can but paint a perfect line in a single swoosh!
Now, looking at the drinking glass as if information technology's half total, I have stumbled on a few tips and workarounds to help me bargain with my chronically uneven eyeliner, and ane of them is that it helps TREMENDOUSLY to showtime past lining my upper water lines (also known as "tightlining"), and then drawing my eyeliner on my lash lines after that.

I used to start by lining my lash lines starting time, and I'd practice my best to brand sure that the lines on both eyes were equally thick and symmetrical. Then I'd tightline my upper h2o lines.
But when I'd expect in the mirror, the liner on one center would always, ALWAYS be thicker than the other! — and for the longest time I couldn't figure out why it was happening.
The "Aha!" moment came when I reversed the guild just for kicks. One day I tightlined my upper water line kickoff, and and so did my lash line.
I couldn't believe it! My liner looked more even! So what the heck happened?

Well, information technology turns out that my eyes aren't symmetrical (but most people's aren't). One of them is slightly larger than the other, and I have a little more than lid space forth the lash line on that one.
So, when I was lining my upper lash lines first and trying to match the thickness of the lines on my left and right eyes, when I'd follow up by filling in my upper water line, information technology essentially made the lines I'd simply drawn on my upper lash line expect thicker.
OK, that's confusing and didn't make a lot of sense, but you get what I'm saying. 🙂

Reversing the process helps. When I tightline my upper water line first, I then employ that line as a guide, and depending on which eye I'yard working on, I compensate past thickening or thinning the liner on my upper lash line to get it as symmetrical as possible.

If yous wrestle with uneven eyeliner and also tightline, requite this tip a attempt.
Out of curiosity, are both of your eyes the aforementioned size and shape? My correct heart is slightly bigger than my left and has a slightly deeper pucker.

Karen
